Erik Marika-Rich is an editor and experimental filmmaker whose work has screened at the Manchester and Oxford international film festivals, as well as galleries across the Northeast. He has edited everything from documentary features about opera singers to surrealist music videos where model trains emerge from the mouths of rock stars. His experience cutting and splicing 16mm film has made him an intentional and thoughtful storyteller. A background in experimental film theory gives him a varied and unique set of tools for creating the desired impression in a viewer. He lives in Brooklyn with his girlfriend and once successfully made beef Wellington.
